As a company that proactively leverages big data, AI and other advanced technologies, AXA Direct has provided internship programs for graduate students with science majors since 2014. Thus far, over 60 students have enrolled and worked on data analysis and model building linked directly to our businesses and contributed to improving business operations. In fiscal 2018, AXA Direct’s internship program was accredited by the Tokyo Institute of Technology as a credit-earning internship subject in information science and technology. On May 30, 2018, several employees of AXA Direct attended a course guidance session at the university and explained our program in detail, attracting a great deal of interest from students.
